When membership demand exceeds the Club’s capacity, Rockport Golf Club will establish a waiting list to ensure a fair and orderly process for admitting new members. The following policy governs the operation of the waiting list and related membership provisions.
- The waiting list fee shall be determined by the Board of Directors.
- Applicants will be admitted to membership in the order in which they joined the waiting list.
- Waitlist applicants are entitled to one complimentary round per month during the season and have access to our 165-yard practice range. They are also welcome to participate in all social events.
- If an applicant is offered membership and elects to defer admission, the applicant will retain their position on the waiting list. However, they will forfeit eligibility for the complimentary monthly round provided to individuals on the waiting list.
- Junior Members and dependents are not required to pay an initiation fee. Upon transitioning to Executive Membership, an initiation fee may be assessed. The fee may be reduced or waived based on:
- The number of years of Junior Membership or dependent status; and/or
- Service performed for the Club, including work in the Pro Shop, Fox Den, or Grounds Maintenance.
- Former members with at least ten (10) consecutive years of prior membership may rejoin the Club without returning to the waiting list. Such members will be required to pay the initiation fee in effect at the time of rejoining.
